Nina Pratt - Nina began
her career in casting with CSA in Los Angeles, where she worked
on numerous feature film and television projects. She has continued
working not only in film and television, but also in theater since
returning to New York. She has been on staff at Grey Worldwide for
nine years and has cast hundreds of voice-overs for such clients
as: Proctor & Gamble, Olive Garden and Dairy Queen, to name
a few. Nina was the staff casting director at The Ensemble Studio
Theater for five seasons where she had the opportunity to work with
playwrights such as Romulus Linney, Paul Rudnik, Will Scheffer,
and David Mamet. She, along with her partner, Kim Moarefi, did the
casting for The Exonerated, which ran at The Culture Project for
two years, as well as the touring company and the film, for which
she received an Artios Award in 2003. She most recently worked on
Celebrity Charades, produced by Bob Balaban and Trigger Street Independent,
which will air on American Movie Classics in June. She also just
completed casting a new film starring Susan Sarandon and Ralph Fiennes,
Bernard & Doris.
Linda Weaver - Over twenty-five years ago,
Linda Weaver began her career as a voice-over agent as the assistant
to Angela Dipene at Cunningham, Escott & Dipene. One of her
duties was to record all in-office auditions, which were then being
done on reel-to-reel. It was there that Linda learned "actor
speak" and how to get a good performance out of an actor. After
five years with CED, Linda moved to J. Michael Bloom as the co-head
of the voice-over department. Thirteen years at Bloom ended with
the demise of Bloom. Then Access Talent, an agency specializing
in voice-over and spoken word representation was born. Linda is
co-owner with Chas Cowing. Access Talent was formed in 1999 and
remains one of the few boutique agencies in NYC. Teaching and coaching
actors has always been a love of Linda's. |
