COMMERCIAL VO: Basics to Business

Casting Director at Just Voices Casting.
Class size will be limited to 12 actors in order to ensure individual attention. Basic commercial technique and various approaches to reading commercial copy will be taught as well as an emphasis on how to approach voice acting as a business. Since the class is so small, performers of varying abilities will be accommodated.

The class meets Mondays, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Roger Becker - Roger Becker began his career as a post production engineer with a predominant focus on voice overs. After leaving the studio in the 1990s Roger began working at the prestigious voice over talent agency, Access Talent. In addition to running the agency's in- house studio, Roger worked as an agent for four years. This particular combination of experiences led him to Just Voices Casting. Since 2005 he has worked as a casting director for national TV and radio commercials, industrials, animation, promos, documentaries, and feature films. Recording, representing, and casting talent for almost two decades gives Roger a unique insight into what actors need when pursuing a career in voice over. |
